Lulu & Jimi is a cheerful color (post) modern fairy tale about a young couple who must fight in the provincial proportions of their love and is not afraid of any obstacles. Director Oskar Roehler be refrained from working with a lot of trash is certainly and pomp, but does not limit in which trash is getting a cheap provocation. Roehler this way pays tribute to Lynch's film Wild at Heart and also creates a fun, impressive and critical road movie with two fresh, in German cinemas yet unknown faces in the starring role.
